New Ferry Butterfly Park.

We had a little stroll around The Butterfly Park today (Sunday 19th August). Even though it was typical British weather the project still looked stunning. The volunteers had just finished a bit of maintenance and looked a tad wet but still a happy bunch. This urban parkland is something for the team to be proud of you would not believe you where in the middle of a town as you walk the paths. You could quite easily of been in any meadow in the countryside. Peaceful, colourful and bustling with wildlife. We had popped into the project a while back for a quick visit and and were lucky enough to see the path stones being painted and seeing them in situ was great, they looked fantastic it has to be said.

  4. Lovely to see something dedicated to the Wirral, with the occasional flit to L’Pool, where I went to university.

  8. The stepping stones are just beautiful, as are the flowers of the park. Quite a blessing to the surroundings, I am sure.
